New Chaga Extract + Our First Documentary | Feb. '26 Newsletter

A Mindfull Morning to You,

Welcome to the 6th Edition of our Mindfull Mycology memo, delivered from our farm and lab to your inbox once each month.

First things first, check out this awesome mini-documentary video our friends at ECG Productions in Atlanta filmed last summer documenting why we do what we do at Mindfull Mycology HQ.

Our Very Own Documentary!!

This project came about because of a connection made at the Roswell Farmers Market and involved working alongside two awesome summer interns for their summer internship project! Suffice to say, we’re very grateful they thought of us for their project and we were more than happy to spend some time with them last July.

Switching gears a bit to life here on the farm, we just finished up harvesting around 35kg of Reishi mushrooms last week and have another big batch of Cordyceps nearing harvest time, too.

In the lab, we’ve been building up inventory of our new Ultrasonic-assisted extracts! Click the link below to watch a short video on our new processes.

Life in the Lab Lately

In our newsletter next month, we’ll get into the nitty gritty of the what, why and how of this new process and methodology.

Last but not least, we’ve added Chaga to our extract lineup!

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) has been used for thousands of years medicinally and is well studied for its liver protective, antioxidative, anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory and immune system boosting properties.

Similar to Maitake, it’s also great for controlling blood sugar levels and lowering cholesterol levels. In fact, we’re considering releasing a blend of Maitake and Chaga later this year targeted for people with high cholesterol and/or who are diabetic or prediabetic.

Well, that about does it for this month’s missive. As always, thank you for your support of our small family-owned business and for being a friend to the fungi.

Until next month…

Mush love!

Sam
